December 11, 2025: Albert Lea, MN 56007 The Albert Lea Tigers ice hockey team scored 12 points and held the visiting La Crescent Lancers to 1 in the Tigers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Tigers now own a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Simley for a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 16. Albert Lea will encounter a Spartans team coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Hastings (Hastings, MN). The Spartans record now stands at 3-1.
With the defeat, La Crescent falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Lancers host Austin (Austin, MN) to face the Packers in a non-league test on Tuesday, December 16. The Packers come into the test with a record of 1-4. Austin lost 5-1 in their recent league test against Red Wing (Red Wing, MN)
