In Thursday's non-league test, the Alexander Central Cougars (Taylorsville, NC) basketball squad got by the visiting North Iredell Raiders (Olin, NC), by a score of 68-64.

Coming up next, the Cougars play the Statesville Greyhounds (Statesville, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 16. Alexander Central will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The Greyhounds come into the test with a 5-2 record after their 51-29 non-league loss to Hough (Cornelius, NC).
