Corona del Sol Aztecs (Tempe, AZ) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions (Glendale, AZ), 63-54 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Corona del Sol advances its record to 1-3 on the year. The Aztecs host Desert Vista (Phoenix, AZ) to face the Thunder in a match on Wednesday, January 21. The Thunder enter the match with a record of 1-0.

The Mountain Lions now own a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Perry for a non-league contest on Friday, December 12.
