The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Merritt Island Mustangs (Merritt Island, FL) and the visiting West Shore Wildcats (Melbourne, FL), observed Merritt Island's basketball team overwhelm West Shore by a score of 79-24.

The Mustangs (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Cocoa Beach (Cocoa Beach, FL). The Minutemen come into the non-league contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, Cocoa Beach was crushed by Satellite (Satellite Beach, FL), 60-37, in a non-league match.
