Louisiana High School Basketball - Cox holds off Abramson
December 12, 2022: Harvey, LA 70058 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Cox Cougars (Harvey, LA) and the visiting Abramson Commodores (New Orleans, LA), saw Cox's basketball squad hold off Abramson by a tally of 65-60.
With the victory, Cox improves its record to 2-5 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Phoenix (Braithwaite, LA) to confront the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 14. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 6-5. Phoenix lost 56-48 in their recent non-league challenge against French Settlement (French Settlement, LA)
Next up, the Commodores confront the Jefferson RISE Charter (Harvey, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 13. Abramson will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The come into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 47-28 non-league loss to Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy (Avondale, LA).
