Brandon Blackhawks (Ortonville, MI) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Almont Raiders (Almont, MI), 57-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Brandon upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Blackhawks travel to Kettering (Waterford, MI) to clash with the Captains in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Captains go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Kettering lost 57-44 in their recent league bout against South Lyon (South Lyon, MI)

Next up, the Raiders clash with the Imlay City Spartans (Imlay City, MI) in a Blue Water Area bout, on Friday, December 16. Almont will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 65-57 non-league loss to Douglass (Detroit, MI).
