The Power Center Academy Knights basketball team (Memphis, TN), was nudged 77-72 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Melrose Golden Wildcats (Memphis, TN)

The Golden Wildcats now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Middle College for a non-league battle on Wednesday, December 14. Melrose will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 55-50 non-league loss to Douglass (Memphis, TN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-4.

The Knights (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against Kirby (Memphis, TN). The Cougars come into the non-league battle with a 0-7 record. In their last bout, Kirby was edged by KIPP Collegiate (Memphis, TN), 80-49, in a non-league bout.
