New York High School Basketball - Middleburgh nudges Sharon Springs Central
December 12, 2022: Sharon Springs, NY 13459 Middleburgh Knights (Middleburgh, NY) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Sharon Springs Central Spartans (Sharon Springs, NY), 45-38 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Middleburgh upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Knights host Berne-Knox-Westerlo (Berne, NY) to clash with the Bulldogs in a Section 2 Western - Mohawk bout on Wednesday, December 14. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Berne-Knox-Westerlo lost 73-55 in their recent league bout against Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons (Schenectady, NY)
Next up, the Spartans clash with the Gilbertsville-Mt. Upton Raiders (Gilbertsville, NY) in a Section 4 Tri-Valley bout, on Friday, December 16. Sharon Springs Central will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 39-33 non-league loss to Windham-Ashland-Jewett (Windham, NY).
