In Monday's non-league match, the host Walker Valley Mustangs basketball team scored a good 69-51 triumph over the Tyner Academy Rams.

In their next game, the Mustangs meet the Ooltewah Owls (Ooltewah, TN) in a 4A District 5 match, on Tuesday, December 13. Walker Valley will attempt to better on its 7-2 season record. The Owls enter the match with a 0-6 record after their 67-37 non-league loss to Warren County (McMinnville, TN).
