The Downey Knights basketball team scored 31 points and restricted the visiting Hughson Huskies to 20 in the Knights non-league victory on Monday.

The Knights now sport a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sonora for a non-league contest on Friday, December 16. Downey will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 50-36 non-league loss to Ripon Christian (Ripon, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-3.
