The Sahuaro Cougars routed the visiting American Leadership Academy Patriots basketball team by a final score of 70-27 in Monday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Cougars face the Tanque Verde Hawks (Tucson, AZ) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, December 14. Sahuaro will attempt to move on its 8-0 season record. The Hawks enter the game with a 1-3 record after their 48-33 league win over Catalina (Tucson, AZ).

With the defeat, American Leadership Academy moves to 4-4 on the year. The Patriots travel to Greenway (Phoenix, AZ) to face the Demons in a non-league game on Wednesday, December 14.
