Highlands Bluebirds (Fort Thomas, KY) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Mercy McAuley Wolves (Cincinnati, OH), 49-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Highlands upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Bluebirds travel to Holmes (Covington, KY) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 17. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 0-1.
