Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Kennedy Fighting Irish (La Palma, CA) and the visiting Huntington Beach Oilers (Huntington Beach, CA), saw Kennedy's basketball squad overcome Huntington Beach by a tally of 54-43.

With the victory, Kennedy improves its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Fighting Irish travel to Yorba Linda (Yorba Linda, CA) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 14. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 5-3. Yorba Linda lost 33-32 in their recent non-league challenge against Valencia (Placentia, CA)
