The Eagles now sport a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hinsdale South for a West Suburban - Gold battle on Tuesday, December 13. Leyden will battle a Hornets team coming off a 56-51 league loss to Downers Grove South (Downers Grove, IL). The Hornets record now stands at 4-3.
The Rebels (3-5) will now prepare for their battle against St. Edward (Elgin, IL). The Green Wave come into the Metro Suburban battle with a 1-6 record. In their last battle, St. Edward was routed by Resurrection (Chicago, IL), 51-21, in a non-league battle.
