December 12, 2022: Pittsburgh, PA 15235 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Penn Hills Indians (Pittsburgh, PA) and the visiting Taylor Allderdice Dragons (Pittsburgh, PA), saw Penn Hills's basketball squad hold off Taylor Allderdice by a tally of 46-42.
With the victory, Penn Hills improves its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Gateway (Monroeville, PA) to confront the Gators in a WPIAL 5A 1 challenge on Tuesday, December 20. The Gators come into the challenge with a record of 2-4.
Next up, the Dragons confront the Clairton Bears (Clairton, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 16. Taylor Allderdice will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 52-30 non-league win over Westinghouse (Pittsburgh, PA).
