Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Rootstown Rovers (Rootstown, OH) and the visiting Tallmadge Blue Devils (Tallmadge, OH), saw Rootstown's basketball squad hold off Tallmadge by a tally of 47-45.

With the victory, Rootstown improves its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Rovers travel to Aquinas (Louisville, OH) to confront the Knights in a Portage Trail challenge on Wednesday, December 14.
