Tennessee High School Basketball - Walker Valley overwhelms Tyner Academy
December 12, 2022: Cleveland, TN 37312 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Walker Valley Mustangs (Cleveland, TN) and the visiting Tyner Academy Rams (Chattanooga, TN), saw Walker Valley's basketball squad wallop Tyner Academy by a tally of 60-13.
With the victory, Walker Valley improves its record to 3-6 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Ooltewah (Ooltewah, TN) to play the Owls in a 4A District 5 challenge on Tuesday, December 13. The Owls come into the challenge with a record of 1-4. Ooltewah lost 66-23 in their recent non-league challenge against Warren County (McMinnville, TN)
Next up, the Rams play the Austin-East Roadrunners (Knoxville, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 16. Tyner Academy will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Roadrunners come into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 63-43 league loss to Lenoir City (Lenoir City, TN).
