Iowa High School Basketball - Williamsburg tops West Branch
December 12, 2022: Williamsburg, IA 52361 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Williamsburg Raiders (Williamsburg, IA) and the visiting West Branch Bears (West Branch, IA), saw Williamsburg's basketball squad knock off West Branch by a count of 46-32.
With the victory, Williamsburg upgrades its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Raiders host Benton (Van Horne, IA) to play the Bobcats in a WAMAC - West challenge on Friday, December 16. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 7-1. Benton won 58-55 in their recent league challenge against Marion (Marion, IA)
Next up, the Bears play the Regina Regals (Iowa City, IA) in a River Valley - South challenge, on Tuesday, December 13. West Branch will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Regals come into the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 63-34 league win over Wilton (Wilton, IA).
