California High School Basketball - Cosumnes Oaks nips Nevada Union
December 12, 2022: Elk Grove, CA 95757 Cosumnes Oaks Wolfpack (Elk Grove, CA) supporters were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA), 53-52 in a non-league challenge.
With the victory, Cosumnes Oaks improves its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Wolfpack host El Capitan (Merced, CA) to confront the Gauchos in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 13. The Gauchos come into the challenge with a record of 7-0. El Capitan won 57-17 in their recent non-league challenge against Downey (Modesto, CA)
Next up, the Miners confront the Rocklin Thunder (Rocklin, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 16. Nevada Union will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Thunder come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 30-22 non-league win over Rosemont (Sacramento, CA).
