North Carolina High School Basketball - Perquimans overwhelms Pasquotank County
December 12, 2022: Elizabeth City, NC 27909 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Perquimans Pirates (Hertford, NC) and the host Pasquotank County Panthers (Elizabeth City, NC), saw Perquimans's basketball squad wallop Pasquotank County by a tally of 53-10.
With the victory, Perquimans improves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Pirates host Lawrence Academy (Merry Hill, NC) to confront the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 13. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 8-0. Lawrence Academy won 41-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Bethel Christian Academy (Kinston, NC)
Next up, the Panthers confront the Holmes Aces (Edenton, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Pasquotank County will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Aces come into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 37-22 non-league loss to First Flight (Kill Devil Hills, NC).
