California High School Basketball - Portola holds off Yorba Linda
December 12, 2022: Yorba Linda, CA 92886 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Portola Bulldogs (Irvine, CA) and the host Yorba Linda Mustangs (Yorba Linda, CA), saw Portola's basketball squad hold off Yorba Linda by a tally of 32-31.
With the victory, Portola improves its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Aliso Niguel (Aliso Viejo, CA) to confront the Wolverines in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 15. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a record of 0-4. Aliso Niguel lost 54-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Santa Margarita (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA)
Next up, the Mustangs confront the Brea Olinda Wildcats (Brea, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Yorba Linda will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
