December 12, 2022: Downey, CA 90242 St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy Warriors (Downey, CA) fans were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Legacy College Prep Lions (Santa Ana, CA), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Warriors confront the Bolsa Grande Matadors (Garden Grove, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 14. St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Matadors enter the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Glenn (Norwalk, CA).
The Lions now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Glenn for a non-league challenge on Friday, December 16. Legacy College Prep will confront a Eagles team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Bolsa Grande (Garden Grove, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 4-1.
