Wisconsin High School Basketball - Antigo holds off Ashland
December 12, 2023: Antigo, WI 54409 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Antigo Red Robins (Antigo, WI) and the visiting Ashland Oredockers (Ashland, WI), witnessed Antigo's basketball squad nip Ashland by a margin of 49-47.
The Red Robins (2-4) will now prepare for their test against Mosinee (Mosinee, WI). The Indians go into the Great Northern test with a 5-1 record. In their last test, Mosinee got by Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln (Wisconsin Rapids, WI), 94-65, in a non-league test.
The Oredockers now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Ladysmith for a Heart O'North test on Thursday, December 14. Ashland will encounter a Lumberjacks squad coming off a 83-51 league win over Spooner (Spooner, WI). The Lumberjacks record now stands at 3-1.
