Douglas County West Falcon (Valley, NE) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Arlington Eagles (Arlington, NE), 71-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Douglas County West upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Falcon host Raymond Central (Raymond, NE) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Friday, December 15. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 0-4. Raymond Central lost 52-36 in their recent non-league bout against Syracuse (Syracuse, NE)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Tekamah-Herman Tigers (Tekamah, NE) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 16. Arlington will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 70-59 non-league loss to Logan View/Scribner-Snyder (Hooper, NE).
