Oklahoma High School Basketball - Hartshorne can't hold off Atoka
December 12, 2023: Atoka, OK 74525 The Atoka Wampus Cats basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting Hartshorne Miners to 58 in the Wampus Cats non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Wampus Cats now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Buffalo Valley for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 14. Atoka will battle a Buffaloes team coming off a 62-47 non-league win over Cameron (Cameron, OK). The Buffaloes record now stands at 3-5.
The Miners (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Warner (Warner, OK). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Warner nudged Central (Sallisaw, OK), 49-48, in a non-league contest.
