In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Belmont Cardinals basketball team scored a good 62-50 triumph over the East Union Urchins.

In their next game, the Cardinals meet the Cherokee Indians (Cherokee, AL) in a non-league match, on Saturday, December 16. Belmont will attempt to better on its 7-4 season record.

With the defeat, East Union moves to 3-6 on the year. The Urchins travel to Myrtle (Myrtle, MS) to meet the Hawks in a non-league match on Friday, December 15. The Hawks enter the match with a record of 2-13.
