Texas High School Basketball - Southlake Carroll holds off Bowie
December 12, 2023: Arlington, TX 76018 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Southlake Carroll Dragons (Southlake, TX) and the host Bowie Volunteers (Arlington, TX), saw Southlake Carroll's basketball squad hold off Bowie by a tally of 61-55.
With the victory, Southlake Carroll improves its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Keller (Keller, TX) to confront the Indians in a 6A Region I District 4 challenge on Tuesday, December 19. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 11-4. Keller won 71-33 in their recent non-league challenge against Lamar (Arlington, TX)
Next up, the Volunteers confront the Mansfield Tigers (Mansfield, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 15. Bowie will attempt to improve on its 10-8 season record.
