December 12, 2023: Caldwell, TX 77836 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Lexington Eagles (Lexington, TX) and the host Caldwell Hornets (Caldwell, TX), saw Lexington's basketball squad hold off Caldwell by a tally of 50-47.
With the victory, Lexington improves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Eagles host Smithville (Smithville, TX) to confront the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 15. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 3-6.
Next up, the Hornets confront the Sealy Tigers (Sealy, TX) in a non-league test, on Friday, December 15. Caldwell will attempt to advance on its 9-8 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 7-5 record after their 59-57 non-league loss to Columbia (West Columbia, TX).
