New York High School Basketball - Oneida topped by Carthage
December 12, 2023: Oneida, NY 13421 The Carthage Comets basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the host Oneida Express to 51 in the Comets non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Comets now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host General Brown for a Section 3 Frontier B contest on Friday, December 15. Carthage will battle a Lions team coming off a 62-26 league loss to Lowville (Lowville, NY). The Lions record now stands at 0-3.
The Express (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Camden (Camden, NY). The Blue Devils come into the Section 3 Tri-Valley - Pioneer contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Camden prevailed over New Hartford (New Hartford, NY), 48-37, in a league contest.
