Michigan High School Basketball - Catholic Central trounces Waverly
December 12, 2023: Novi, MI 48374 The Catholic Central Shamrocks (Novi, MI) basketball crushed the visiting Waverly Warriors (Lansing, MI), 85-49 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Shamrocks (1-1) will now prepare for their test against De La Salle Collegiate (Warren, MI). The Pilots go into the Catholic Central test with a 3-0 record. In their last test, De La Salle Collegiate walloped Grand Blanc (Grand Blanc, MI), 49-43, in a non-league test.
The Warriors now own a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Holt for a Capital Area - Blue test on Thursday, December 14. Waverly will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 58-51 non-league loss to Cass Tech (Detroit, MI). The Rams record now stands at 1-2.
