Minnesota High School Basketball - Centennial nips New Prague
December 12, 2023: New Prague, MN 56071 Centennial Cougars (Circle Pines, MN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host New Prague Trojans (New Prague, MN), 61-56 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Centennial upgrades its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Andover (Andover, MN) to play the Huskies in a AAAA Section 7 bout on Wednesday, December 13. The Huskies come into the bout with a record of 0-2. Andover lost 78-61 in their recent league bout against Anoka (Anoka, MN)
Next up, the Trojans play the Worthington Trojans (Worthington, MN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. New Prague will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Trojans come into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 102-67 non-league win over Windom (Windom, MN).
