December 12, 2023: Cherryville, NC 28021

The Lincolnton Wolves basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Cherryville Ironmen to 40 in the Wolves non-league win on Tuesday.

With the win, Lincolnton upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Wolves host Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC) to play the Bears in a 2A Catawba Valley bout on Friday, December 15. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 1-5. Bunker Hill won 63-55 in their recent non-league bout against West Iredell (Statesville, NC)

Next up, the Ironmen play the Piedmont Community Charter Patriots (Gastonia, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. Cherryville will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 83-67 non-league win over Highland Tech (Gastonia, NC).
