The Chico Dragons basketball team (Chico, TX), was nudged 42-40 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Valley View Eagles (Valley View, TX)

The Eagles now sport a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Azle Christian for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 14. Valley View will battle a Fighting Crusaders team coming off a 61-37 non-league win over Weatherford Express HomeSchool (Weatherford, TX). The Fighting Crusaders record now stands at 7-4.
