December 12, 2023: Sisters, OR 97759 The Cottage Grove Lions (Cottage Grove, OR) basketball nipped the host Sisters Outlaws (Sisters, OR), 48-45 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Lions (3-2) will now prepare for their test against Taft (Lincoln City, OR). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 4-1 record. In their last test, Taft got by Siuslaw (Florence, OR), 68-35, in a non-league test.
The Outlaws now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to South Umpqua for a non-league test on Friday, December 15. Sisters will encounter a Lancers squad coming off a 54-48 non-league win over Elmira (Elmira, OR). The Lancers record now stands at 2-1.
