Texas High School Basketball - Ellison routs Midway
December 12, 2023: Waco, TX 76712 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Ellison Eagles (Killeen, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Midway Panthers (Waco, TX), by a margin of 56-26.
The Eagles (13-3) will now prepare for their outing against Belton (Belton, TX). The Tigers go into the 5A Region III District 22 outing with a 14-1 record.
The Panthers now own a 7-10 record. They play next when they host Temple for a 6A Region II District 12 outing on Friday, December 15. Midway will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 44-43 non-league loss to Waco (Waco, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-12.
