December 12, 2023: Gardiner, ME 04345 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Gardiner Tigers (Gardiner, ME) and the visiting Erskine Academy Eagles (South China, ME), saw Gardiner's basketball squad overcome Erskine Academy by a tally of 70-56.
With the victory, Gardiner improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Tigers host Cony (Augusta, ME) to confront the Rams in a A North challenge on Thursday, December 14. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Cony lost 110-59 in their recent non-league challenge against Oceanside (Rockland, ME)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Leavitt Hornets (Turner, ME) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 15. Erskine Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 51-31 league win over Lisbon (Lisbon Falls, ME).
