Iowa High School Basketball - Fairfield overwhelmed by Pella
December 12, 2023: Fairfield, IA 52556 The Pella Dutch basketball team scored 80 points and restricted the host Fairfield Trojans to 42 in the Dutch non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Dutch now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Newton for a Little Hawkeye contest on Friday, December 15. Pella will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 80-61 league loss to Dallas Center-Grimes (Dallas Center, IA). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-2.
The Trojans (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Keokuk (Keokuk, IA). The Chiefs come into the Southeast contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Keokuk triumphed over West Liberty (West Liberty, IA), 82-50, in a non-league contest.
