December 12, 2023: Kalamazoo, MI 49008 Hackett Catholic Prep Fighting Irish (Kalamazoo, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Galesburg-Augusta Rams (Galesburg, MI), 53-38 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Hackett Catholic Prep upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Fighting Irish host Kalamazoo Christian (Kalamazoo, MI) to clash with the Comets in a Southwestern - Valley bout on Friday, December 15. The Comets go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Kalamazoo Christian won 46-37 in their recent non-league bout against South Haven (South Haven, MI)
Next up, the Rams clash with the Saugatuck Trailblazers (Saugatuck, MI) in a Southwestern - North bout, on Friday, December 15. Galesburg-Augusta will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record.
