California High School Basketball - Oceana nips Gateway
December 12, 2023: San Francisco, CA 94115 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Oceana Sharks (Pacifica, CA) and the host Gateway Gators (San Francisco, CA), saw Oceana's basketball squad hold off Gateway by a count of 77-75.
With the victory, Oceana upgrades its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Sharks host Design Tech (Redwood City, CA) to play the Dragons in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 15. The Dragons come into the challenge with a record of 0-5.
Next up, the Gators play the Marshall Phoenix (San Francisco, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 15. Gateway will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Phoenix come into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 36-24 league loss to Lycee Francais (San Francisco, CA).
