December 12, 2023: Tyler, TX 75701 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Grace Community Cougars (Tyler, TX) and the visiting White Oak Roughnecks (White Oak, TX), saw Grace Community's basketball squad wallop White Oak by a tally of 78-54.
With the victory, Grace Community improves its record to 5-8 on the campaign. The Cougars host Brighter Horizons Academy (Garland, TX) to confront the Stars in a TAPPS 5A District 2 challenge on Friday, December 15. The Stars come into the challenge with a record of 0-5. Brighter Horizons Academy lost 67-41 in their recent non-league challenge against Princeton (Princeton, TX)
Next up, the Roughnecks confront the Overton Mustangs (Overton, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 15. White Oak will attempt to improve on its 6-9 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 10-1 record after their 54-37 non-league win over Alba-Golden (Alba, TX).
