Lake Ridge Eagles (Mansfield, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Grapevine Mustangs (Grapevine, TX), 78-53 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lake Ridge upgrades its record to 13-2 on the season. The Eagles host Duncanville (Duncanville, TX) to clash with the Panthers and Pantherettes in a 6A Region II District 11 bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Panthers and Pantherettes go into the bout with a record of 5-5. Duncanville won 79-58 in their recent non-league bout against Crowley (Crowley, TX)

Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Ryan Raiders (Denton, TX) in a 5A Region I District 7 bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Grapevine will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record.
