December 12, 2023: Kent City, MI 49330 Hopkins Vikings (Hopkins, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Kent City Eagles (Kent City, MI), 59-45 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Hopkins upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Vikings travel to Hastings (Hastings, MI) to clash with the Saxons in a non-league bout on Friday, December 15. The Saxons go into the bout with a record of 0-3. Hastings lost 55-44 in their recent league bout against Coldwater (Coldwater, MI)
Next up, the Eagles clash with the Newaygo Lions (Newaygo, MI) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. Kent City will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 67-58 non-league win over Orchard View (Muskegon, MI).
