New Hampshire High School Basketball - Hopkinton holds off Raymond
December 12, 2023: Raymond, NH 03077 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Hopkinton Hawks (Contoocook, NH) and the host Raymond Rams (Raymond, NH), saw Hopkinton's basketball squad hold off Raymond by a tally of 47-44.
With the victory, Hopkinton improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Hawks host Monadnock (East Swanzey, NH) to confront the Huskies in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 15. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Monadnock lost 55-37 in their recent league challenge against Conant (Jaffrey, NH)
Next up, the Rams confront the Conant Orioles (Jaffrey, NH) in a Division III challenge, on Thursday, December 14. Raymond will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Orioles come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 55-37 league win over Monadnock (East Swanzey, NH).
