Massachusetts High School Basketball - Oakmont Regional holds off Hudson
December 12, 2023: Ashburnham, MA 01430 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Oakmont Regional Spartans (Ashburnham, MA) and the visiting Hudson Hawks (Hudson, MA), saw Oakmont Regional's basketball squad hold off Hudson by a tally of 44-42.
With the victory, Oakmont Regional improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to East Boston (East Boston, MA) to confront the Jets in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 15. The Jets come into the challenge with a record of 0-2. East Boston lost 60-41 in their recent league challenge against Charlestown (Charlestown, MA)
Next up, the Hawks confront the Hopedale Blue Raiders (Hopedale, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 13. Hudson will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Blue Raiders come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 59-37 non-league win over Advanced Math & Science Academy (Marlborough, MA).
