December 12, 2023: Pratt, KS 67124 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Skyline Thunderbirds (Pratt, KS) and the visiting Kinsley Coyotes (Kinsley, KS), saw Skyline's basketball squad wallop Kinsley by a count of 57-36.
With the victory, Skyline upgrades its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds host South Central (Coldwater, KS) to play the Timberwolves in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 15. The Timberwolves come into the challenge with a record of 4-1. South Central lost 58-57 in their recent non-league challenge against Meade (Meade, KS)
Next up, the Coyotes play the Ness City Eagles (Ness City, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 15. Kinsley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 79-22 non-league loss to Hodgeman County (Jetmore, KS).
