The Lancaster County Christian Lions basketball team scored 41 points and held the visiting New Covenant Christian Flames to 37 in the Lions non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Lions now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Christian School of York for a Commonwealth Christian - Central contest on Friday, December 15. Lancaster County Christian will battle a team coming off a 51-33 non-league loss to Lititz Christian (Lititz, PA). The record now stands at 0-2.

The Flames (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Harrisburg Christian (Harrisburg, PA). The enter the Commonwealth Christian - West contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Harrisburg Christian was nudged by Dayspring Christian Academy (Mountville, PA), 71-48, in a non-league contest.
