Iowa High School Basketball - Prairie tipped by Linn-Mar
December 12, 2023: Marion, IA 52302 The Linn-Mar Lions basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Prairie Hawks to 59 in the Lions league triumph on Tuesday.
The Lions now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Iowa City West for a Mississippi Valley contest on Friday, December 15. Linn-Mar will meet a Trojans team coming off a 67-45 league win over Wahlert (Dubuque, IA). The Trojans record now stands at 4-0.
The Hawks (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Kennedy (Cedar Rapids, IA). The Cougars enter the Mississippi Valley contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Kennedy nudged Cedar Falls (Cedar Falls, IA), 51-47, in a non-league contest.
