December 12, 2023: Lubbock, TX 79407 Midland Christian Mustangs (Midland, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Lubbock Christian Eagles (Lubbock, TX), 53-42 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Midland Christian upgrades its record to 17-2 on the season. The Mustangs host Permian (Odessa, TX) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 15. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 9-6. Permian won 91-33 in their recent non-league bout against Fort Stockton (Fort Stockton, TX)
Next up, the Eagles play the Panhandle Panthers (Panhandle, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. Lubbock Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 55-46 non-league loss to Clarendon (Clarendon, TX).
