New Hampshire High School Basketball - Mascoma overwhelms Newport
December 12, 2023: Newport, NH 03773 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Mascoma Royals (Canaan, NH) and the host Newport Tigers (Newport, NH), saw Mascoma's basketball squad wallop Newport by a tally of 66-29.
With the victory, Mascoma improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Royals host Belmont (Belmont, NH) to confront the Red Raiders in a Division III challenge on Thursday, December 14. The Red Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Belmont won 64-34 in their recent league challenge against Inter-Lakes (Meredith, NH)
Next up, the Tigers confront the Stevens Cardinals (Claremont, NH) in a Division III challenge, on Monday, December 18. Newport will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
