The Ozona Lions basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the visiting Mason Punchers to 25 in the Lions non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Lions now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Water Valley for a 2A Region I District 7 contest on Tuesday, December 19. Ozona will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 59-22 non-league loss to Irion County (Mertzon, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-9.

The Punchers (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Brady (Brady, TX). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 9-6 record. In their last contest, Brady triumphed over Grape Creek (San Angelo, TX), 60-54, in a non-league contest.
